In 2010 I had to travel to India for my job. Although I was busy with work near Bangalore, I managed to allocate some time to catch a few glimpses of this huge country. For quite some time I had wanted to see the Taj Mahal, and still, after many journeys across the globe, I consider it as one of the most stunning places I have been to.
“The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal and is widely considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and stands as a symbol of eternal love.
In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.”
